SAN FRANCISCO — PBteen has unveiled an exclusive home collection in partnership with iconic fashion designer Anna Sui.
The Anna Sui for PBteen collection, Sui’s first interior design collaboration, was inspired by her current and archived ready-to-wear fashion collections, as well as her fashion showroom, her apartment in New York and her favorite furnishings from her bedroom when she was a teenager. The assortment includes furniture, bedding, lighting, decorative accessories and gear in her signature aesthetic.
“I’m so excited about my new collaboration with PBteen. I created two different looks. One is based on the art nouveau feel of my boutiques, and the other one is inspired by the chinoiserie style you’d find in my own apartment,” said Sui.
The Flight of Fancy room is based on Sui’s penchant for art nouveau and balances multidimensional patterns and dramatic hues with feminine detail. The quilt features sateen multicolored paisley with lace embroidery detailing. The black wicker oversized butterfly wall décor was inspired by Sui’s childhood headboard. Decorative accessories include the Live Your Dream pillow, embroidered boxes, butterfly wall hooks and Ooh La Love art.
The Moth Ombre room features chinoiserie-inspired style with gilded lamps and ornate wall hangings. The black Anna Sui vanity is based on a vintage piece from the designer’s teenage bedroom. This collection also includes a peacock jewelry holder and unicorn graphic pillow.
“Anna Sui’s unparalleled originality and bold, free-spirited aesthetic translates into a collection that inspires our customers to express themselves through creativity and personal style,” said Jennifer Kellor, president, PBteen.
The entire collection comprises 50 pieces, with prices ranging from $16.50 to $1,099, and is now available at PBteen.com and PBteen stores nationwide.
