Emilia Foods — a producer and distributor of Italian foods — is expanding its frozen vegetable offerings to include carb alternatives such as riced, mashed and spiral vegetables.
Made from broccoli, zucchini, pumpkin and carrot, the new frozen vegetables are gluten-free and contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. “We have customers asking for healthy, interesting ways to have vegetables and to avoid high carb intake. These foods are delicious, nutritious and great alternatives for a healthier diet,” said Ivan Manfredi, CEO of Emilia Foods.
The new products are available under the Emilia Foods brand, as well as private label with low minimum orders. In addition to frozen vegetables, Emilia Foods produces and distributes handmade Italian gourmet frozen entrees, hand-stretched wood-fired frozen pizza and handcrafted gelato.
